産褥1日目の初産婦と経産婦の姿勢(座位と臥位）による自律神経活動の違いを明らかにした。経産婦では、初産婦や一般女性とは異なった副交感神経活動の働きが見られた。研究の統括、研究計画立案、データ収集、データ分析、結果の解釈、全てをおこなった。
