Lectures and seminars take a student-centered approach to encourage active learning. Students are expected to complete reading and comprehension questions before class to prepare for in-class discussions. In the classroom, I provide guidance in ensuring students understand the main overall concepts through interactive lectures. Students are expert learners since they bring a wealth of knowledge, both from academic experiences and life experiences, to the classroom to draw upon. Students are given ample opportunities to engage in critical thinking through group and class discussions.
