This paper examines the shifting realities of international student mobility in Asia by examining the international student mobility flows between and among Asia and Asian countries and the world, internationalization of higher education and international student mobility policy developments in Japan, frameworks for regional collaboration of higher education in Asia and student mobility, and their implications.
