In this study, we investigated a technique for forming cotton yarn and thermoplastic polyurethane resin into clothing using a newly developed rotary 3D printer while compositing the yarn with the resin. Most clothes manufactured by conventional 3D printers are made of resin only, and are not comfortable to wear. By compositing cotton yarns and resin using a 3D printer, we aimed to produce garments with high wearing comfort.
