In this work, we objectively clarify the position of the luxury brands in comparison with the Kawaii styles found in those brands using color feature. We collect the image data to create the luxury fashion database, separate into the brand’s representative style and the Kawaii style. We compared the Colorfulness of all previous Kawaii fashion and the luxury brand’s Spring Summer 2022 collection. The analysis result objectively shows that the Kawaii styles of TOMO KOIZUMI and DIOR seems to be similar to Harajuku-type Kawaii fashion. In the further investigation by looking at all other season/year, an interesting finding suggests that DIOR adopt colorful clothing especially only for this season, but not for TOMO KOIZUMI.
