We investigated the equality perception of children projected to the pictures that show the situation in which inequality and the disadvantage are noticed by the life scene in daily life. We collected total 562episodes from the response of children for 4 disadvantage or inequality situations. We used the concept of strength of classification to analyze all the episodes of children. That is by Basil Bernstein's linguistic code theory. We classifield all the episodes into three different categories:strong classification(+C),weak classification(-C)and ambiguous(±C).
By this survey we could get information that Q1(responses of disadvantage for girls climbing tree)and Q4 (responses of disadvantage for black color in boy)showed strong classification code more than the other questions. We also found that Q4 and Q2(responses of disadvantage for the person of advanced years) showed mores of weak classification code than the other questions.Among the weak classification, Q4 had most episodes(N=112),but among strong classification,Q4 were comparatively more episodes. So we guess that Q4 had ambivalent tendencies concerning with human equality.
Q3(responses of disadvantage for the older)was't show each clear classifications.
